The spindle speed regulation of grinding machine, surface grinding machine, tool grinding machine, precision grinding machine and other CNC grinding machines manufactured by the grinding machine manufacturer is carried out automatically according to the control instructions. In order to meet the requirements of speed regulation and output torque of the main drive at the same time, the grinding machine, surface grinding machine, tool grinding machine, precision grinding machine and other CNC grinding machines manufactured by the grinding machine manufacturer often adopt the mode of mechanical and electrical integration, that is to say, at the same time, the electric grinding machine is used. There are two ways to change the speed of motor and mechanical gear. Among them, the gear decelerates to increase the output torque, and uses the gear shift to expand the speed range.

(1) motor speed regulation

There are two kinds of adjustable speed motors for spindle drive of CNC grinder, such as grinder, surface grinder, tool grinder and precision grinder, which are mainly used in grinder manufacturers: DC motor and AC motor.

Because the spindle motor of CNC grinder such as grinder, surface grinder, tool grinder, precision grinder and so on, which is manufactured by grinder manufacturer, requires a large output power, therefore, the DC motor of spindle is not suitable for permanent magnet type in structure, and it is generally used as other excitation type. In order to reduce the volume, improve the cooling effect and avoid motor overheating, axial forced air cooling or heat pipe cooling technology is often used.

The DC spindle motors of CNC grinding machines such as grinding machines, surface grinding machines, tool grinding machines and precision grinding machines manufactured by grinding machine manufacturers are generally controlled by thyristor, with double closed-loop speed control system of speed and current.

2) AC motor spindle speed regulation

In recent years, CNC grinding machines such as grinder, surface grinder, tool grinder, precision grinder and so on are increasingly used in the AC spindle motor speed control system. The AC spindle motor mostly adopts squirrel cage induction motor and uses AC frequency conversion to control the spindle speed.

(2) mechanical gear speed change

The structure of the main shaft gearbox is greatly simplified by the stepless speed regulation of the motor, but the output torque of the low speed section often can not meet the requirements of the powerful cutting of the machine tool. Therefore, the CNC grinding machines such as grinder, surface grinder, tool grinder and precision grinder, which are manufactured by the grinder manufacturers, often adopt the combination of 1-4 gear speed change and motor stepless speed change, namely the so-called stepless speed change. The mechanical gear is used to decelerate, the output torque is increased, and the speed range is expanded by gear shifting.

The mechanical gear automatic shift actuator is a kind of electric mechanical conversion device, which usually adopts two ways: hydraulic cylinder shift fork and electromagnetic clutch shift. These two ways are controlled by PLC of grinder, surface grinder, tool grinder, precision grinder and other CNC grinders manufactured by grinder manufacturer, and automatically shift gears.
